DESCRIPTION OF ATTRACTIONS - LOMNICKY PEAK

Lomnicky Pond - departure by gondola lift

We start the trip by taking a cable car ride from Tatranska Lomnica to Lomnicky Stit Lake at 1751 m above sea level, where there is an option to ascend to Lomnicky Peak at 2634 m above sea level or take a chairlift to Lomnicky Saddle at 2196 m above sea level. Those who choose not to ride the cable cars can enjoy their time sipping coffee at the restaurant or take a leisurely walk around the lake, admiring the views.

A 14-person cable car leads to the inaccessible summit from Lomnicky Stit Lake. At the top of Lomnicky Peak, there is an observation terrace where you can admire the panoramic views of the Polish and Slovak Tatras during a 50-minute stay. Lomnica, standing at 2634 m above sea level, is the second highest peak in the Tatras, after Gerlach.

Kieżmark

Kežmarok is a town located in northeastern Slovakia, in the Spiš region, at the foot of the Tatra Mountains. It is one of the oldest towns in the country, with a history dating back to the 13th century.

After our high-altitude adventure, we will head there – to a place rich in history and a unique atmosphere. This town is full of monuments and medieval mysteries that captivate tourists. Worth visiting are the castle, the Wooden Articular Church, and the Old Town. Kežmarok is also an important cultural center, bustling with life during numerous festivals and events.

ATTENTION:

In the event of a change in cable car ticket prices, the customer is required to pay the difference on the day of the tour.

The tour operator may cancel the tour due to low attendance up to 6:00 PM three days before the scheduled activity.

Cancellations are possible no later than 72 hours before the tour departure (during office hours).

In the event of a timely cancellation, the refund will be reduced by a reservation fee of PLN 50 per person.

 

Those interested in a tour WITHOUT entry to Lomnický štít peak are invited to purchase the High Tatras from Łomnicki Pond and the historical Kieżmark.

Lomnicky Peak

Lomnica (2634 metres above sea level) is the second highest peak in the Tatras after Gerlachovsky Peak. This hard-to-reach peak is accessed by a cable car destined for 14 passengers, which departs from Lomnicky Pond. During 50 minutes of stay on Lomnica you can enjoy spectacular views over surrounding valleys and peaks.
