We start the trip by taking a cable car ride from Tatranska Lomnica to Lomnicky Stit Lake at 1751 m above sea level, where there is an option to ascend to Lomnicky Peak at 2634 m above sea level or take a chairlift to Lomnicky Saddle at 2196 m above sea level. Those who choose not to ride the cable cars can enjoy their time sipping coffee at the restaurant or take a leisurely walk around the lake, admiring the views.

The Magistrala Trail from Lomnicky Stit Lake to Hrebienok at 1285 m above sea level leads down a rocky path. Along the way, we will stop for a rest at Zamkowského Chata mountain hut and visit one of the waterfalls, Vodospád Vysny (Upper Waterfall) in Vodopády Studeného Potoka.
From Hrebienok, we will descend to Stary Smokovec using a mountain railway with tracks on rugged terrain.

Lomnica (2634 metres above sea level) is the second highest peak in the Tatras after Gerlachovsky Peak. This hard-to-reach peak is accessed by a cable car destined for 14 passengers, which departs from Lomnicky Pond. During 50 minutes of stay on Lomnica you can enjoy spectacular views over surrounding valleys and peaks.
