In the late 18th century, the most famous composers of that time, such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven, created their works here.
Belvedere
and Hundertwasser House
Belvedere in Vienna is a palace located on a hillside in the Landstraße district. It was built in the 17th century as the summer residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy and is currently the seat of the Austrian President. Inside the palace, you can see many historic works of art, such as paintings, sculptures, and furniture, as well as galleries of Austrian and European art. The Belvedere gardens feature beautiful fountains, sculptures, and flower beds.
The Hundertwasser House is an unconventional, multi-story apartment building that stands out with its colors, shapes, and lack of straight lines or symmetry. It is one of the most famous architectural works by Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
Schönbrunn Palace is a historic palace located on the western outskirts of Vienna. It was built in the 17th century as the summer residence of Emperor Leopold I and has been used by subsequent rulers of Austria, including Maria Theresa and Franz Joseph.
Schönbrunn Palace is one of the most important landmarks in Vienna and one of the top tourist attractions in Austria. The palace features beautiful ballrooms, imperial apartments, as well as museums and art galleries. Visitors can admire magnificent frescoes, sculptures, furniture, and a collection of porcelain and silver. The palace gardens offer many attractions, such as fountains, mazes, a zoo, and a botanical garden. One of the highlights of Schönbrunn is the Emperor's Suite, which is fully preserved and showcases Empress Sisi's private bedroom, study, and dressing room. Another popular attraction is attending classical music concerts in the palace's concert hall.
During the guided tour, we will learn about the history of Vienna and see some of the city's most beautiful landmarks from the outside, including St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Opera, the Parliament, and the Viennese residence of the rulers of Austria, the Hofburg.
