DESCRIPTION OF ATTRACTIONS BUDAPEST WITH AN EVENING CRUISE TOUR
We will begin our tour of Budapest with a ride along Andrássy Avenue, the longest street in the city and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2002. With our guide, we will then proceed to Matthias Church, one of the most important and well-known Hungarian churches. It is located in the heart of Castle Hill, near the Holy Trinity Square, and its tall, neo-Gothic tower makes it one of the most recognizable landmarks in Budapest. Castle Hill is a prestigious area in the city and houses the oldest part of the city as well as the Royal Castle.
St. Stephen's Basilica is dedicated to the first Hungarian king, St. Stephen. Inside the basilica, you can find the most important national relic - the mummified hand of the patron saint. The basilica is the largest church in the capital of Hungary and can accommodate over 8,000 worshippers. The pinnacle of the basilica is a 96-meter dome with a mosaic depicting God the Father.
