EXPLORING A MYSTERIOUS RESERVE
A stroll through the magical forest enveloped in numerous legends, where we will be able to stimulate our imagination. With a bit of luck, we may encounter a species of bats that was once endangered. Traces of them will also be visible at Wiśnicz Castle.
DESCRIPTION OF ATTRACTIONS PERTIFIED CITY AND WIŚNICZ CASTLE TOUR
The name of the reserve is associated with one of the stories about the origin of the fossilized settlement. Once an inhospitable and mysterious place inhabited by evil forces, it is now undoubtedly the greatest natural attraction of the Ciężkowice-Rożnów Landscape Park, the most well-known and popular. The park is home to rocks with extraordinary shapes that can be compared to human and animal figures.

Wiśnicz Castle is the second largest castle in Lesser Poland after Wawel Castle. After World War II, the castle was nationalized, and its thorough reconstruction began in 1949. Its conservation was carried out by Alfred Majewski, whose contributions can also be seen in Wawel Castle. Every castle has its White Lady, and Wiśnicz Castle is no exception. Its history is connected to Queen Bona, after whom one of the towers was named.
