The waves are gentle, and rapids are rare and not too forceful. What makes Dunajec Rafting unique is the reverse flow of the river and significant level differences, reaching up to 36 meters!

Rafting Dunajec on a pontoon - available in two options: Polish or Slovak. The Slovak option starts in Majere and ends in Leśnica. The Polish rafting, known as Rafting Szczawnica, starts in Sromowce Niżne and ends in Szczawnica. The Dunajec rafting itself lasts about 2 hours, filled with great fun, a touch of adrenaline, and breathtaking views. Participants of the Dunajec descent can admire not only the Trzy Korony peak and magnificent over 150-year-old trees but also the incredibly spectacular Dunajec Gorge, where the river winds through rocky formations reaching heights of up to 300 meters - evoking immense respect for the forces of mother nature in everyone.

Rafting is a tourist variation of river descent and is a popular and active form of entertainment on the Dunajec River, which is a hallmark of the Pieniny, Szczawnica, and Niedzica regions. The rafting route, just like the traditional raft descent, runs along the Polish-Slovak border in a deep canyon, passing by peaks such as Sokolica and Three Crowns (Trzy Korony).

The Dunajec rafting route is neither demanding nor dangerous. Anyone can participate, regardless of age or physical fitness. Rapids with waves and fast-flowing currents provide a bit more excitement, while on calm sections, one can admire the beauty and richness of nature. It is one of the greatest attractions in Europe. The descent is carried out on specially adapted pontoons or kayaks.
